Prenatal & Postnatal Pilates
A customized Pilates workout can help you stay healthy and fit during all stages of your pregnancy. Sessions are tailored specifically for pregnant women with an emphasis placed on exercises that promote strength and well-being during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. Recommendations by your healthcare provider as well the recommendations from ACOG will be incorporated into the design of each session.
Some of the the benefits of exercise during pregnancy are:

- Reduced back pain, bloating, and other discomfort due to muscle & skeletal imbalances
- Excess weight gain prevention
- Reduce risk of gestational diabetes

After delivery, once your healthcare provider has given you the okay to start exercising again, our postnatal Pilates program will help you get back into shape. In addition to helping you recover, emphasis will be placed on strengthening the body, making it easier for you to carry your baby (groceries, stroller, etc) without hurting yourself.
On LOCATION TRAINING
Prenatal and postnatal Pilates training is available in NYC only. You will be trained at the location of your choice. We will supply the mat and props. This is a great option for postnatal clients who do not want to leave their infant with a sitter. Mommy & Me exercises can also be incorporated into the routine.
